Spectacular Financier Dead:
The
death has occurred of Mr. Ernest Terah Hooley, a£$ed 88, spectacular financier of 40 years ago, who once owned land in Englahd wort'h ^IOjOOO^OO'O. He claimed to Be the first man to thinlc of offering ffnancial inducements to noblemen for the use of their names in qompSny promotion, paying "£10,000 for a Duke and £5000 for a couple of'ordinary peers." He was sentenced"to three years' imprisonment in 1922 for fraud.
