ROTORUA—PLEASE TAKE NOTE
Although dress i'efoi'm for men isfrequently advocated during hot, dry spells, little is ever done about it. However the employees of two local bodies * in Hamilton recently have been successful in instituting a more comfortable style of dress for business hours. Both at the Waikato County Council office and the office of the' Waikato Central Electric-Power Board the male clerks and other employees working in the offices have received permission to wear shorts, open-necked shirts, long hose ancl shoes during business hours. Many members of both stalfs toolc advantage of the relaxing of the agelong custom o-f suits with collars and ties and appeared at work iil their cooler and more comfortable clothing.
