FIRE HAZARDS IN MAIN TRUNK AREA
WELLINGTON, Last Night. ^ith no new outbreaks reported and most of the existing fires fairly low, there was a decided improvement to-day in the situation in the Main Trunk bush area. The weather forecast, however, was not favourable from the fire ^hazard point of view, indications bemg for increased Wind.
