to-night "The Private Lives of Elizab-eth and Essex," the Warner Bros.' technicolour production starring Bette Davis and Errol Flynn, returns again to the Majestic Theatre to-day. Bette Davis is cast as the self-willed, vain and domineering Queen Eliza-« beth torn between her love of England and its people and her overwhelming love for the handsome and dashing young Earl of Essex. Errol Flynn as Essex has the type of role rnost suited to his talents — that of a handsome, swashbuckling _ hero, as victorious in love as he is in war. Brilliant supporting artists include Olivia de Havilland, Donald Crisp and Alan Hale.
