GAOL FOR THEFT FROM PARKED CARS
Two cases where property had been stolen from parked cars had a sequel in the Rotorua Police Court yesterclay when gaol sentences were imposed by Messrs. O. H. 'Coleman • and G. H. French, Justiees of the Peace. Charles Morris, aged '22, and Tayl'or Papuni, aged 20, both described as Maori labourers, 'of Koutu, vvere charged with the theft, on February 6, of a guitar valued at £2, the property of Richard Blake. Moms, was sentenced to one raonth's imprisonment and Papuni was convicted and discharged on this count. Papuni was then ealled .upon to ans'wer for the theft, on December 28 last, of a camera, three films, 6s. in money and a 'tyre galtge, the property of James Goodfellow, and valued at £16 11s. For this he was sentenced ;to a month's imprisonment.
