The
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced nominations for 1946 "Oscars," and for the first time, England placed candidates in all three leading. categories. Nominations were: — Best play: Henry V*. Best aetcr: Laurenee Olivier (in "Henry V"\. Best actress: Celia Johnson (in "Brief Encounter"). Awards will be announced on March 13.
