LONDON, Feb. 7. Lonclon's snowstorm this morning continued for three hours. Latest reports show that blizzards are still raging in many parts of northern England and snow is falling over a wide area of southern England. Buekinghamshire has had snow continuously for 16 hours. A Dakota sueeessfully parachuted supplies to sevei-al hundred airmen cut off since Mon'day night at BinbroOlc station, Lincolnshire. The Air Ministry stated that the Aveather was so ha** that the Dakota would not be flown except for emergency. Food supplies were to-day parachuted to a number of other Royal Air Force marooned stations. The Ministry of Transpnrt directed the raihvays to give coal traffic priority. It placed an embargo on all ofher goods traffic except perisliables and foodstuffs. The raihvays report that several Jines continue blocked and most trains on the useable lines are greatly delayed. The raihvays are using many snowploughs. Efforts are still being made to reach ^everal villages cut off since Monday. Many gangs, including wai- prisoners, are trying to clear niain roads. There is still serious anxiety for the couple who have been missing in the Gbathand (Yorkshire) district since Monday. The roads in many parts of Hereford, Gloucestershire, and on the Welsh border are impassahle. Most of Devon and Cornwall is ice-bound, More snowfalls and severe frosts are predicted. Weather experts say the conditions will continue for several days. Widespread electricity and gas cuts are operating to-day. Correspondents report more snowfalls in many parts of Europe. Still lower temperatures are predicted for Berlin, where the death roll through eold, . with two more. fatalities, has reached 105 since December 1.
