•a. Section play in the B Grade singles championship of the South Auckland Croquet tournament was ecmpleted j at the Government Gardehs yester- i day. Mesdames Edgarley (Auckland), Reddell (Gisborne) ,. and Wad- ! del1 (New Plymouth), winning j respectively sections T, 2, and "3. It j is expected that the semi-finals for that grade will be played off to-day and possibly also the finals. With two grades almost played off, three further grades, A Grade championship singles, intsrmediate singles and handicap singles ftommenced late yesterday afternoc-n. Results : —
