PROGRESS REPORTS ON VANGUARD'S TRIP
UON'DON, Fehruary 6. The King has decided that the Royal party" this weelc will go aboard the vessels escorting the Vanguard, says Reuter's correspondent: Her Majesty the Queen and the two Princesses will first visit the. earrier Implacable, then the cruisers Diadem and Cleopatra. The 'Royal Family to-day enjoyed the warm air ou t'he sun declc watching the escorts taking the spra,y. The Princesses were eaxiy astir to see the high, bare hills of Teneriffe. The King acknowledged greetings from Santa Cruz. All the Royal Family watched an impressive demonstration of an air attack by Fireflies and Seafires from the Implacahle. Despite heavy seas the Portuguese Navy made rendezvous with ^he Vanguard and fired a 21-gun salute. The' King expressed thanks ' for the friendly gesture.
