Old Men's Tobacco
An inci-eased allocation ha? been made by Ihe Soutbland Hospital Board to enable the inmates of the old men's hotne at Riverton to receive more tobacv.o. For a long time past the board has voted £5 a month, which enables each inmate to receive two packets of tobacco a month. A mem■ber of the boaid said: "The old men at the home have little to do all da> except smoke, and the two packets are a ver.v meagre allowance."
