The Minister of Labour, Mr. Isaaes, said in the House of Commons that the Government Was considering whether eurrent raanpower shortages in Britain could' be met by hringing in displaced persons from Europe. This would be an extension of the present practice of | bringing displaced women to Engiand for purely domestic work. The Minister added that officials had already visited displaced persons camps to classify men according to their degree of skill. .
