PULLED THREE WAGGONS WITH TEETH
In the goods yard of the Portland ailway Nation, 26-year-old Alexander Vlarshall, a dockyaid crane driver, )ulled three goods waggons, weighng just over 19 tons, a distance of >0 feet with his teeth. . Marshall, a handsome young giant ix feet tall and broadly ibuilt, did this at the fifth attempt. He slipped :ff his web belt, hooked it to the vaggon coupling, put his teeth into he middle of it and began to -pull. Four times he moved the three waggons about a foot and then, at the ' ifth attempt he pulled them over two vaggon lengths. ■ Facing. the crowd he sbouted with a broad sniile, "I have done it." Marshall has broken the British ecord with a left-hand dead lift of '461b, broken a six-inch nail in seven -.econds, lifted a girl on scales — a veight of 1301b — with his little finger, \nd supported a quarter of a ton of tone on his chest.
