INCOME TAX PAYABLE IN accordance with Order in Council dated September 18, 1946, issued under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1946, I hereby notify that the Income Tax leviable under section 3 of the latter Act is payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department, or at any money-order post office, in one sum on Wednesday, February 12, 1947, and that additional tax accrues if not paid by March 5, 1947. Liability-is not suspended by any objection,, and tax must be paid by the prescribed date to avoid additional percentage; any overpayment will be refunded. Demands will be issued on or about February 5, 1947, and must be presented with all payments. Taxpayers who do not receive an expected demand should communicate with the Superintendent of th'e office of the Land and Income Tax Uepartment where the taxpayer's records are filed.
