TO-DiAY AND TO-NIGHT One of the xxxost unusual features of "Thef Spiral Staircase" is Director Robert Siodxxiak's einphasis on his canxera which creates much of the atxxiosphere in this telling- draxiia. Miss McGuire gives an outsfanding performance while George Brent ixxvests the prof essor with strength, and Miss Barrymore niakes her presence l'elt in her every scene. "Water Sports," conxedy and two Newsreels also screen.
