NIGHT WORK RESUMES ON WATERFRONT

AUCKLAND, Lust Night. For the first time in seven weeks overtime was worlced on the Auckland waterfront to-night. The watersiders adopted the recommendation of the National Council of their union to resume overtime at a special stop work meeting in the morning. A labour force of about 200 men was emplcyed to-day and non-union-ists were employed in large numbers to augment the number of union men available. Ten overseas ships and five large eoastal vessels were worlced to-night.
