SANTA CLAUS GETS CLAWED

iLON'DON. Two bedraggled professional Santa Clauses, one beared, the other with his beard tucked under his ann, were involved in a brawl outside a London West End tavem on Christmas Eve. The bearded Santa alleged the other had stolen a bottle of whisky from him while they were singing carols to ;avern customers. A fight started, and police intervened, later escorting the Santas home with a word of warning for unseasonable behaviour. Another Santa Claus, going home from a large London store, made a flying tackle which brought down a pickpocket who was being chased 'by che police. The thief was arrested and Santa .hanked by the man whose wallet had been stolen.
