Transport Workers To Strike On Sunday
SYDNEY, January 17. Full supplies of gas were restored to all consuimers of the Australian Gaslight Company at noon to-day, 5 1 hours earlier than expected. This means that the whole of the city is now getting its normal supply, while the other companies which have continued partial i*eduction throughout the strike, were able to deliver a full supply yesterday. Most of Sydney was enabled to enjoy its lirst cooked dinner for weeks, yet will have to do without fresh meat till Tuesday, when the butchers will reopen.
