HEART ACTION TWICE RESTORED

Aged Man Dies On Thirci Occasion LONDON, January 15. Albert Beaupre, aged 66, "died three times," according to evicience given at an irquest at St. Pancras. Beaupre was heing operated on in hospital for a throat ailment which was threatening him with starvation. A surgeon gave evidence that the patient's heart stopped beating for three minutes, but direct massage and injection restarted it. The heart stopped again and was again restarted while the operation continued. The heart this time beat for 29 minutes before it stopped, and all attempts to restart it failed.
