BRISBANE, January M. •f'ix Australian seamen in one of the five trawlers recently sold by the Dutch Government from the • Royal Australian Navy say that the ships were sabotaged in Sydney. They say' that one lifeboat davit had been broken and then puttied up and painted over, machinery in other trawlers had been tampered with,iive wires left uncovered, and nuts and bolts loosened. One trawler broke . down and was towed to port. The. men are convinced that the damage was not aceidental. The vessels are each of 40' tons. They arrived in Brisbane from Sydney yesterday on their way to the Netheidands East Indies. They will be used there for scientific purposes, including fishing research. ..
