Bruce Shows Stamina At Trentham
1 WELLINGTON, last night. Bruce came from a long way back to win the Dominion Handicap on the first day of the Wellington Racing Club's meeting yesterday. He scored narrowly but easily at the finish from Blanket and Dink's Own, though it was only with 5'0 yards to go that he headed Blanket and went xon to win by half a length. Bruce was near the tail of the field for the greater part of the journey,_ but luck was with him as he secured a run through on the inside in the straight, and his stamina did the rest Results: — LINDEN HURDLES/ 13 miles: 3 — 3 Provider 9.0 (M.
