MAJESTIC THEATRE
/ TO-NIGHT In a laugh-laden, tune-filled production that offers limitless latitude for their crazy shenanigans, the madcap teaili of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello level their side-splitting antics at the hallowed traditions of the film industry in "Bud Abbot and Lou Costello in Hollywo-od," their latest Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer comedy which opens to-night at the Majestic Theatre. Broadly burlesquing their way through the film story as a pair of barbers turned actors' agents, the coixiedians have a field day as they run riot in a Hollywood studio. Frances Rafferty, whose youthful talents and sparkling- personality brightened "Mrs. Harking'fcoii" and the "Hidden Eye," plays the feminine lead as a glamorous movie actress, Miss Rafferty, who b'egan her career as understudy to famed dancer Zorina, reveals her skill at rhythmic stepping for the first time on the screen. The new comedy introduces to screen audiences, the new singing discovery, Robert Stanton.
