GHOST THAT GETS "FRESH"
LONDON A ghest that tlckles waists and " pulls bedclothes from women is haunting* a 270-3rear-old alms' house in Langley, Buclcinghamshire. The hou.se adjoins a graveyartl. Jane Buckland, 18, who lives in the almshouse, .said that i\ft iour nig'hts she woke up to find a uill vvhite, misty '.igure, with broad shouldei's, besicle her bed. The g'host vvas not the type oue saw through. It woke her by touching' her face. June's niother said: "One night when I heard a noise I got up, aiul then fel; a hand g*rip niy waist, and pinsh it — not hard. I have heard kieking- feet under the bed, and it feels as if someone is tvying to lift it up." jVlrs. Shetlock, another "wonian living- in the nouse, said: "One night m.v bedclothes were pulled dovvn. I pulled them up to my neck, and they were polled down again. Then again and again." The Society o£ Physical Research is looking into the mystery.
