THEFT OF VEGETABLES FROM HEALTH CAMP

DUNEDIN, last night. Seventy children at the Waikouaiti health camp were the sufferers as the result of a particularly mean theft which was prerpetrated last xtiglht when the raiders stripped a large vegetable garden of peas, turnips and young carrots. The vegetables had been specially prepared for the annual camp and were to have been gathered to-day. It is believed seaside visitors were responsible for the theft.
