BURMA WANTS INTERIM GOVERNMENT
CALCUTTA, Jan. 2. The Leader of the .B^roiese delegation to the coming talks in London arrived in Calcutta to-day by air from Rangoon. He later took off for New Delhi where he will see Mr. Nehru. At Calcutta, he told reporters that the Burmese delegation wanted ta_change the . Governor of Burma's Executive Council immediately into ' an interim "national government with full freedom of action. They also want the General election arranged for next April to be an election for a constituent assembly in which there would only be* Burmese represe'ntatives. The London talks on the future of Burma are expected to begin in the week comffiencing Janu- ' ■■■
