PALERMO BANK ROBBED OF £25,000
PALERMO, Dec. 28. Ten men, armed with sub-machine guns, raided the Bank of Sicily in Palermo, and got away with about £25,000 without firing a shot. They entered the bank soon after it had *>pened, locked the doors, cut the telephone wires and help up everyone on the premises until one of the gang got away with the money in a lorry belonging to the bank. The rest of the gang quickly followed in an- | other car.
