All provide fresh points of interest. Secondly, there is the unequalled area of Orakei-Korako itself. Refreshment may he had at the pleasantly situated tea-room, and competent guides ferry visitors across the Waikato River in a steel-cahled ferry $nd conduct them around the valley of enchantment where the great river provides a gentle undertone to the beautiful, bizarre and fascinating orchestration of Nature that is Orakei-Korako, "The Place of Adorning," with its crashing crescendo of colour, beauty and the fine fairy-like loveliness of Aladdin's Cave. It can fairly he claimed that Orakei-Korako has every form of thermal activity existent in the world and much that is found nowhere else.
