BRITISH AMBASSADOR LEAVING SPAIN
$ LONDON, Deeember 22. It is reported from Madrid that the BritisK Amhassador there, ,Sir. Victor Mallet, may leave for London within five to six days at the latest. Eaflier it was reported from London that the Amhassador had been c told to leave Spain as soon as he. had completed his personal arrangements. The British •Government has thus acted without waiting for the official recomniendation of the United Natipns' Assemhly that all member countries should withdraw tlieir envoys from Spain. Italy is another eountry which has taken action.
