LONDON Gola medals hidden nnder scrap iron in a Birmingham workshop for six years were among- the trophies for which 792 fishennen competed in ihe English . angling championship mateh at Boston (Lincs) recently. All baits were xesfricted to maggots and worms. This was a new handicap for those anglers chosen from nearly 1,000 clubs all over Britain. The medals were given to Mr, T. A. Waterhou.se, president of the National Federation of Anglers, when war began. • - He dug a hole in the floor of his Birmingham • workshop, piled ^crap on top.
