MR. BEVIN OPTIMISTIC ABOUT WORLD OUTLOOK
LONDON, December 20. "I feel more hopeful now than I have since I have been Foreign Secretary," said Mr. Ernest Bevin upon his arrival in Southampton ahoard the Queen Elizabeth. "I can see a gx*eater understanding, coming. "The wox*k in New Yox*k has been vex*y hopeful hut the great test will come in Moscow in March, when we have to deal with the real problem of Germany." Mx*. Bevin added: "I am feeling very fit, and if the undertakers ax*e looking for me they will have to wait a long time." M. Molotov, who also arrived on the Queeix Elizabeth, said that he was happy and well satisfied with the United Nations' wox*k. He added that he was prepax*ed' for any future work in Moscow.
