MORE LICENCES FOR DELIVERY VANS
WELLINGTON, last night. An additional allocation for im-' por'ts of completely knocked down commercial chassis from t'he United Kingdom and North America has been made to the extent of 59 per cent. of the value of the 1938 imports of the same goods. It 'has also been decided that licences issued for itaports of knocked down chassis . for 1947 will be made available for imports of delivery vans. / - The. allocation of licences for vans, providing they are available, will mean a big help for business firms requiring vans for delivery servicfcs. However, there may be difficulty 'in, securing the vehicles because of the ' shortage df s'teel. , x
