Additional To Merchant Navy LONDON, Dec. 18. Britain intends to build a merchant air service which will b,e as important to her national economy and prestige as the Merchant Navy, said Lord "Nathan, Minister of Civil Aviation, in a speech in London. It would not supersede the Merchant Navy, but would be additional to it. "We are resolved to build up an effective networb of useful services giving access to every part of the world. Our primary aims will he to make them safe, regular, sufficient and comfortable and fast, in that order of importance," he said.
