(To the Editor) Sir, — I should •like to say in fav;ur of our Whaka road bus service, .hat my family and 'I have travelled iaily for almost 17 years, and can Iruthfully say, I have never yet i '.oticed a dirty hus and we have al.vays received the utmost- courtesy. I'he drivers have a lot to contend with >y the selfishness and had manners . )f some people. Three times last veek I heard' one of our Maori drivrs ask passengers kindly to move along, as one ljdy co^ilck inot ge't )n. They still never moved an inch. Vas it any wonder he got cross? Also, I would like to ask "Visitor" /here the apples were procured, as • thought there were no apples in .iotor.ua. We have the same visitors , ear after year and who s'tay three .lonths at a time and admit there is .o hetter place. I an old resident ./ould like to tell "Visitor" to find : hetter place, where there is more .atural beauty and cleaner 'buses. — I ..m etc.,
