AUSTRALIAN DAVIS CUP TEAM AWAITED
MELBOURNE, Decembcr 10. It is expected that to-day the seleetors will announce not only the Australian Davis Ciip team, but also the players chosen for the singles and douhles matches. Normally the seleetors leave to the captain the c-hoiee of i)layers for specified events. The probable team is accepted as Bromwich, Pails, Quist and Long, against the probable United States four Kramer, Schroeder, Parker and ?Iulloy. Meanwhile, 60 builders working on the construction of temporary stand-s for the Davis Cup are threatening to strike to-day hecause of trouble with the managing foreman. The men have been Working overtime to complete the stands by Boxing" Day and non-union labour has also been ernpkoyed.
