ATHLETIC AND CYCLING CLUB'S MEETING
The Rotorua Amateur Athletie and Cycling Club continued its evening' meetings at Pererika Street Reserve last night. There was an improved attendance hy senior members, this time the juniors being well outnnmbered. P. Shukev liad no trouble to win 1 the 100 yards open, and W. Kemeys showed a welcome returned to gain second place. In the mile open, Shuker ran well, to be placed second to the junior, R. Bates. The field events were closely eoirtested, C. Stephenson winning the senior discus, with Hutchings, a neweomer, taking the junior. The high jnmp resulted in a tie, and only three inches separated the eompetitors in this event. The junior jump was won by J. Wil.l, and Miss N. Fleming showed a welcome retnrn, winning the women's event. l Detailed results are: — ■ 1OO Yards, Open:: F. Shuker (13yds) 1; W. Kemeys (5) 2; C.
