DIRTY BUSES.
VISITOR.
To the Editor. Sir, — I would like to protest through your column at the duty state of the buses operated in Rotorua hy the N.Z.R. During my stay m Rotorua I have had to use several of .these buses on frequent occasions and have very seldom seen them in a clean state. They are generally littered with smelly apple cores and peel and banana skins, and to-day I had the privilege of sharing the last seat wtih a'pile of stale half-chewed sandwiches. The driver informed me it was not his job to clean up buses. Rotorua, wake up! Christmas will bring its usual crowds. For shaime alone, clean up your buses, and why not cut out making restaurants out of them?— -I am, etc.,
