ROTORUA CLUB POSTPONED: FIXTURE HELD ON THE TE NGAE COURSE $ESULTS OF RAjOING The Rotorua Speedway Club h'eld a most successful meetings on "the Te Ngae track yesterday afternooh and the weather conditions which had necessita't(ed the postponem'ent of the meeting on Thursday, although not as j propitious ,as they might have been, were still much more favourable than on the day originally set down for the meeting. T.he track was in good order and although the wind raised the dust, some exeellent racing was witnessed. A number of visiting Auckland riders, including; some with international reputations, were seen in action ,and the good crowd which; attended was awarded'by a very in(teresting afternoon's sport. A. Matson, ex-N.Z- ehampion, who has been earning laurels for himself abroad, rode paiticularly well while the young Rotorua rider, W. Gr,ay distinguished himself against very experienced opposition. iResults were as follows: — Christmas Hgmdicap First Heat: A. Matson (Ak) 1, J. •Stewart (Ak) 2. Time, 1.45. J.
