An anti-cyclone is advancing slowly over the Tasman while a cyclone is apparently located off _ the North Queensland coast. . Winds: Strong south-westerly to southerly still, reaching gale force in places. Weather: Cold, changeable and squally generally with scattered showers. Some heavy rain probable to-night on the east coast. of the North Island. Conditions gradual- 1 ly improving.
