— By Telegraph — Copyrlght).

Rec. Dec. 28, 8.15 p.m. -Pekin, Dec. 27. March 1, 1934, is likely to be a red-letter occasion in the annals of Manchukuo. Three important events are scheduled for that day, namely, the enthronement of President Tuyi as Emperor, the promulgation of a monarchial constitution similar to that of Japan, and the conclusion of a new treaty further strengthening the ties between Manchukuo and Japan. A 10,000-dollar throne, representing a eombination of ancient Chinese craftsmanship and ultra modern comfort, equipped with springs, has been jbuilt in Japan for the future Em.peror's use.
