An anti-cyclone is advancing slowly over the Tasman while a cyelone is apparently located off the North Queensland coast. Winds: Strong south-westeidy to. southerly still, -reaching gale force in places. Weather: Cold, changeable and squally generally with scattered showers. Some heavy rain probable to-night on the east coast" of the North Island. Conditions gradually improving.
