OPEN TOURNEY concluding matches td be played to-day YESTERDAY' S RESULTS With the close of yesterday's play in the Rotorua Lawri Tennis Club's annual open tournament, the semifinal stages in most sections have now been reached and with the finals will he decided to-day. Occasional showers yesterday did not sefiously interfere with the play and good progress was made, although the wihd was troublesoine. In the championship series Roy , and Elliott will ineet in the semi-final of the men's singles this morning and un the ladies' single Miss N. Beverley will play Miss McCready. In the combined doubles both Miss N. Beverley. and Miss M. Bevei'ley have reached the semi-finals and will oppose each • other to-day with Charters and Miller8 as their respective partners. When the semi-final matches inboth the championship and handicap sections have been completed this morhirig, play in the finals will be commenced in the afternoon at - 2 p.m. This morning's draw is as follows: 9 a.m. — Men's Championship Singl-
