GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT Lovers of the sport of Kings— horse racing — will find some good horse AbsIi and roal racc track thrills in "The Thoroughbred," showing at the Grand Theatre to-night. And anyone who likes a rousing story and rattling good entertainment will also be thoroughly happy over this Tiffany tallcing pieture in which Wesley Barry gives a splendid performance as the jockey whose foolishness gets him into the position where he will go to jail if he doesn't throw the biggest race of the season. Other good performances are given by pretty Nancy Dover, Pauline Garon, as an adventuress, Larry Steers is the villain, Rohert Homans and Walter Perry as the two scrappy Irishmen, Onest Conly, Mildred Washington and Mme. Sul Te Wan, coloured actors, and there is ^ some heautiful singing of negro spirituals by Guy Barrington and coloured chorus.
