GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGFT. "The Thoroughbred," the all-talk-ing production at the Grand heatre to-night is the story of' a young jockey who thinks that the race is to the smartest and learns that you have igot to be a thoroughbred to deserve ■to ride a thoroughbred ,to victory. It 1 is a great role for "Wesley Barry. Nancy Dover, Pauline Garon, Larry Steers, Robert Homans and Wialter Perry are in the cast. As Young Tod, Barry licks his way with his fists to supremacy among the other jockeys, easily wins first place in the heart of Colleen, and rides .to victory in so many races that he gets all puff ed up over what a really great guy he is — iand takes a fall! His foolishness gets him into a hole where he must either dishonour his profession or land in jail. "The Thoroughbred" promises some thrilling fights and horse racing, comedy and romance.
