EFFECT OF OTTAWA
London, Dec. 28. Asked in the House of Commons why the beef imports from Australia and New Zealand were not being reduced, the- Minister of Agriculture, Mr. W. E. Elliot said that under the Ottawa agreements with those Dpr minions Britain could not at present make any alteration.
