"Night after Night" opens at the Majesttic Theatre to-night. ; 'George Raft, sensational young star, wKo "won his first laurels in minor roles . in "Scarface," "The J Bporting Wlidow," and "Daneers in . the Dark," has the leading male role — land, incidentally, the first leading role of his movie eareer. Constance Cumnidngs, Wynne Gibson, Mae West and Alison Skipworth have other leading roles. The film is set in a Nsw York night club — )a luxurious old mansion, which has been converted into an oasis for i the thirsty. Eaft is proprietor of the | place. j Miss Cummings, a luscious society bud, who was born in the house in its ,i hetter days, is drawn baclc -to it time !] iafter time hy a desp yearning for the | seene of her childhood. Her frequent visits :bring her in contact with Raft and a queer romance, which is brought to a startling climax by a series of unusual events, develops batween the two.
