TAUPIRI The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Dtd., Hamilton, report on their Taupiri pig sale on the 18th instant as under: — ITihere was a good yarding of all classes of pigs. Values were sligbtly' easier on our last sale in keeping with the reduced prices in other centres. Wle quote: — Breeding sows up to £2 10s; choppers up to £2; heavy baconers, £2 5s to £2 10s; medium baconers, £1 18s to £2 3s; light and heavy do. £1 13s to £1 16s; medium porkers, £1 9s to £1 12s; light porkers, £1 4s to £1 7s; good istores, 19s to £1 3s; poorer i do. 15s to 17s 6d. slips 15s to 18s 6d; ■ good weaners 11s to 14s 6d; inferior • weaners, 8s to 9s 6d.
