London, Nov. 11. Britain is becomipg the ppntre of a world's tourist traffic. This statempnt was made hy Mr. Clifford Whitley, of the Gordon Hotel at the annual conference at Brighton of the Hotels and Restaqrants Assocjation of Great Britain. Mr. Whitley said: — "The most effective method of publicity I kntow is ' through the columns of the newspapers, and "many of us would like tp sperid more than we alr.eady do on adveftising. "More and more intelligent people are realising that hotel trading — and with it the eneouragement of tourism is a matter which must be . taken into consideration when the Chancellor' ■ of the Exehequen- .cpjn.es fto analyse his imports and .exports. "This country has more tp off er the tourist than any ot)j.er country in Europe."
