Hay (Ceylon). Mr. and Mrs. Laland (England), and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson (Auckland) are visiting. Rotorua and are guests at the Palace Hotel. Mr. D. M. Finlayson (Whangarei) is staying at Brent's Biaithgat'e- House. Mrs. P. Boyle and Mr. A. P. Boyle (Christchurch) are staying at the Grand. (Mr. F. Forsyth (Auckland) is among the guests at the Palace Hotel. Mrs. M. Gillon (Auckland), Mr. and Mrs. E. Yates (Auckland), Mr. R, A. Brunt (Auckland) and Mr. F. Earl (Auckland) are at Princes Gate. Mr. and Mrs. House, the Misses House and Mr. House, jun., are guests at Brent's Bathgate House. (Mr. F. W. Furkert, formerly undersecretary and chief engineer to the Public Works Department, has been awarded a Telfprd Premium by the Institution of Civil Engineers, London. Mr. _S. G. Clark (Auckland) is staying at the Palace Hotel. Mr. B. R-. Gelling and Miss Gelling (Sydney) are staying at Primces Gate. Mr. F. Windsor (Auckland) and Mr. Hamilton Irvine (Gisborne) are at Brent's Bathgate House. '
