London, Novhmber 4. The Duke and Duchess of Yoiflc figured in a charming lit-tle incident at the banquet of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights at the Mansion House. They pledged each other in a lov-ing-cup when the toastmaster announced to the assembled company: "His Royal Highness the Master, th6 Second Master, and the Warden would drink to you in a loving-eup and bid you welcome." . The Duchess bowed gravely to her husband, took the gold wine cup ih both her white-gloved hands and drank to the Lord MayoiY Sir Percjr Greenaway, who sat on her right. In accordance with the ?ld city usage, the Duchess remairied standing while the Lord Mayor passed the loving-cup to his right-hand neighbour, to guard him from "treacberou's attack" while both his hands were occupied.
