' were looking for and in a few months Rotorua will be well up on the big -city booking-s. This is made po-ssible by the linking up to a big chain of thaa.tres. The British (E-'mpire Films programme "Hayseeds" will be the big Christmas and New Year attraction in Auckland and will screen at the 'Majestic Theatre, Rotorua, or January 24, 25 and 26. "Smiling Thru," featuring NJorma Sthaarer, 'fProsperity," and "Tugboat Annie," featuring Marie Dressler, "Hell Below," "Peg o' my Heart," and "Wlhite Sister" will be seen early in the new year. "Alexander Hamilton," featuring George Arliss is booked for January 33 4, and 5. "Forty-second Street," W'arner Bros' biggest attraction for 'the year, screens on January 6, 8 and 9. "Prosperity," Metro Goldwyn's special picture featuring everybody's favourites, Marie Dressler and Polly Moran, is billed for December 30 and January 1 and 2.
