ICEBERGS SIGHTED
the wyatt earp SHIP ENTERS FRINGE . OF GREAT ICE ~ PACK STRETCHES FAR AHEAD

(Rec. 6.10 p.m.) The Wyatt Earp, Dec. 13. Two icebergs were sighted at 5 p.m. on Tuesday local time and behind them loomed the ice link. By 7 p.m. we had passed twenty more anc( " entered the edge of the loose pack ' approximately latitude 63.17, long. 174.06. At 1 a.m. the loose pack was ahead as far as the eye could reach.
